The business journey of PT Dwi Guna Laksana, Tbk began with its establishment on 10 November 1986, based on Notarial Deed No.04 of Cornelia JuandaTanuraharja, S.H., initially operating as a general contracting company. In the course of its business development, the Company obtained a Mining Business License in 2007, followed by the signing of its first Coal Sale and Purchase Agreement with PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) in 2009.
The Company listed its shares on the Bursa Efek Indonesia on 13 December 2017 through an Initial Public Offering (IPO) of 3,100,000,000 shares under the ticker symbol ‘DWGL’. In 2019, Hawthorn-Capital Investment Pte. Ltd. was designated as the Company’s controlling shareholder.
Currently, DWGL has 11 Coal Sale and Purchase Agreement with PLN, in addition to three PJBBs with private parties through its subsidiaries. During the year, the Company successfully received several awards in recognition of its performance as one of the leading coal trading companies in Indonesia.
